FAQ pages can capture featured snippets and long-tail traffic. “How long does X take?” “What does Y cost?” — if you answer it, you can rank for it.
FAQ Schema
- FAQPage — Tells Google these are questions and answers. Can trigger FAQ rich results.
- One schema per page — Don’t stuff 50 FAQs. Group related questions.
- Accurate — Schema must match visible content. No hidden FAQs.
Content Structure
- Question as H2 or H3 — Clear, natural language. How people search.
- Answer — Concise. 2–4 sentences. Direct answer first.
- Expand if needed — But lead with the answer. Snippet-friendly.
What to Include
- Process questions — “How long does a website redesign take?” “What’s the process?”
- Pricing questions — “How much does SEO cost?” “What’s the typical budget?”
- Comparison questions — “Agency vs. in-house?” “WordPress vs. headless?”
